In an attempt to sharpen the written skills of members of Eagles Foundation for Humanity and also in a way of raising awareness for our maiden “Harmony for Humanity” project, the management board directed members to share their Humanity story in line with our Harmony for Humanity program.

I LEARNED TO GIVE NOT BECAUSE I HAVE MUCH,BUT BECAUSE I KNOW EXACTLY HOW IT FEELS TO HAVE NOTHING goes the famous adage that has inspired some individuals to charity work.
As expatriates with busy lives,it can be hard to find time to volunteer.
However, the benefits of volunteering are enormous to you, your family, and your community. The right match can help you find friends, reach out to the community, learn new skills and even advance your career.
One of the better -known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Unpaid volunteers are often the glue that holds a community together.
Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. However, volunteering is a two-way street, and it can benefit you and your family as much as the cause you choose to help(for the prophet said, give charity without delay for it stands in the way of calamity). Decicating your time as a volunteer helps you make new friends, expand your network, and your social skills.
It’s said in The Holy Quran 2:215 …”what you spend with a good heart, give it to parents, relatives, orphans, the helpless and travellers in need. Whatever good you do,God is aware of it”.
What have you done for Humanity?
