In preparation for our Foundation’s maiden program tagged “Harmony for humanity”, #Eaghumanitarians were required to write articles on the “I learned to give, not because I have much but because I know how it feels to have ”
Eaghumanitarian Lukman Sarumi a has this to say on the topic :
I LEARNED TO GIVE,NOT BECAUSE I HAVE MUCH BUT I KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO HAVE
How do you intend to leave an impact for eternity? Looking all around I espy agents clamouring for change. Yes change is possible but it begins with you and I.
I learned to give not because I have much, just like a oven baked bread it’s fresh in my memory how can I ever forget that moment I went numb all because I needed 50# and there was no one to give it to me even friends chanted “Mi o ni change lowo” ever since I knew exactly how it feels to have nothing.
Now with the little I have and God willing the millions tomorrow I will never cease charity.
“And let not those among you who are blessed with graces and wealth swear not to give (any sort of help) to their kinsmen, Al-masakin (the poor), and those who left their homes for Allah’s cause (Quran 24:22). If you’re lucky enough to do well it’s your responsibility to send the elevator back down.
What have you done for Humanity?
